Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities

Should have experienced with SPD warehouse

• Deep understanding of all processes and systems of warehousing operations
• Should be able to connect to people and teams to get work done at warehouses
• Knowledge of costs and profitability from warehousing service providers' perspective
• Ability to manage customer relationship
• Focus on the strategic implications of emerging best practises and technologies and their utilisation in business to improve customer satisfaction, customer service and operational efficiencies
• Manage the Contract Logistics Operations across different projects to deliver high level of customer experience
• Analyze the current infrastructure constraints & current Business Model & remove bottlenecks
• Understands and knows how to resolve customer's escalations
• Focus on safety, 5S and KPIs
• Ability to review processes / activities, think through improvements, plan them and implement. Subsequently, monitor and measure
• High level of integrity
• Well versed with excel, power point, some ERP, WMS etc.
• Other soft skills - analytical, thinking, good communication etc.

Accountability:

• Ensure activities carried out in the Organisation meet and integrate with Organisational requirements for Health, Safety and Legal policies in force.
• Manage & develop direct reporting staff (recruitment, development & delegation etc.)
• Manage & control departmental expenditure within the agreed budgets.
• Accountable for Overall gamut of Operation functions
