Position Overview

The Operations Executive will support the smooth functioning of day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring timely coordination between departments, compliance with standards, and efficient patient service delivery. The role requires strong administrative skills, understanding of hospital workflows, and the ability to respond proactively to operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily operational management across all hospital departments.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with nursing, medical, administrative, and support teams for seamless patient care.
  • Track and report operational issues; escalate critical matters to management.
  • Support OPD/IPD operations including patient flow, front office coordination, and service efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, checklists, and audit-related records.
  • Facilitate compliance with NABH and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate for resource availability – manpower, equipment, materials.
  • Assist in grievance redressal and ensure timely resolution of patient concerns.
  • Support management during internal/external audits, inspections, and administrative reviews.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance hospital operational efficiency.
  • Provide operational support during emergency situations and high-volume periods.
  • Track attendance, duty rosters, and ensure staffing adequacy in coordination with HR.

Required Qualifications

  • Mandatory:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management / Hospital Administration (BHA, MHA, MPH, BSc Healthcare, etc.)
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hospital operations (freshers with an excellent healthcare background may be considered).
  • Knowledge of hospital functioning, NABH standards, and patient service protocols.
