Role Summary

The Operations Executive is the key-position for order fulfillment in the E-Commerce/Quick/Commerce Business, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods from the manufacturing locations to the local depot and finally to the customers. The role focuses on inventory management, logistics coordination, and maintaining high OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling Appointments:

  Coordinate with the local warehouse/logistics team to schedule vehicle placement and pickup to ensure in-time supplies for received Purchase Orders.

• Despatch and Delivery Co-ordination:

  Support depot teams with required documentation (LR/PRN/E-Way Bills) and collect/verify Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.

• Inventory Planning and Monitoring:

  Assist in forecasting demand platform-wise and location-wise to ensure inventory availability. Track Inventory Ageing and assist in reconciliation at the Bangalore depot location.

• Primary Despatches from Bikaner (or Plant):

  Coordinate with the production team at the central manufacturing unit (e.g., Bikaner) to ensure the timely transfer of finished goods to the Bangalore depot based on forecasts and sales plans.

• Performance Monitoring:

  Monitor key operations metrics like order fulfilment rate, dispatch efficiency, and logistics costs for the region.

• Process Improvement:

  Identify and implement efficiency improvements in depot operations and documentation flow.

Required Experience

• 3-5 years in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Hands-on experience with inventory management systems.

Education

• B.Tech/B.E. in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of documentation required for goods movement (e.g., E-Way Bills, LR).
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Good coordination and communication skills with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal teams.
