Operations Coordinator

About the role: Swifty is Bengaluru’s newest personal errand & pickup–delivery service, where customers book small tasks (grocery, documents, medicines, repairs, parcels, etc.). We need a smart, responsible Operations Coordinator to manage daily tasks, assign runners, track work, and ensure smooth customer experience. ⸻ ✔ Responsibilities • Receive customer tasks on WhatsApp Business & phone • Understand task details and assign to the nearest available runner • Track runners live and ensure timely completion of tasks • Maintain proper records: – Task start time – Store-entry & exit time – Billing sheet – Cash collected / paid out • Handle customer updates, queries & after-service feedback • Ensure accurate billing according to Swifty pricing guidelines • Coordinate with vendors, shops, pharmacies etc. when required • Make sure cash collected by runners is submitted daily • Maintain discipline, attendance & performance of runners • Report any delays, issues, complaints immediately • Help build SOPs, improve operations & support the founder ⸻ ✔ Skills Required • Strong communication (Kannada + Hindi/English) • Experience in logistics / hyperlocal delivery operations (preferred) • Ability to coordinate runners and manage multiple tasks together • Basic WhatsApp, phone, and Google Sheets usage • Good problem-solving & customer handling skills • Honest, reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure ⸻ ✔ Eligibility • Experience in Dunzo / Swiggy Genie / Porter / Shadowfax / courier operations preferred • Minimum 1–2 years experience in logistics or field coordination • Must know Bengaluru routes • Two-wheeler optional (not required) ⸻ ✔ Shift & Salary • Day shift (full-time) • Attractive salary + performance incentives • Weekly off + festival bonus ⸻ ✔ Why Join Swifty? • Fast-growing startup with high customer demand • Easy work, supportive environment • Opportunity to grow into Senior Operations Manager as company expands
