Role Overview
The
Operations Coordinator
(one male and one female) will be responsible for the day-to-day operational, welfare, and logistical management of youth players at the
AIFF-FIFA-Telangana Talent Academy
in Hyderabad
. This is a
full-time residential role
requiring dedication, structure, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-performance environment for young footballers.
Key Responsibilities
- Team & Player Administration
- Manage all non-technical functions of the team including accommodation, meals, kit and equipment handling, travel coordination, and daily routines.
- Maintain accurate records for each player—IDs, medical files, academic schedules, disciplinary logs, and attendance.
- Ensure smooth implementation of academy schedules and maintain order in all off-field activities.
- Player Welfare, Safety & Discipline
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional support of all players, with a special emphasis on safeguarding minors.
- Act as the first responder in emergencies and coordinate with medical and support staff when required.
- Uphold AIFF’s safeguarding and player protection protocols at all times.
- Communication & Liaison
- Serve as a communication bridge between the players, technical/coaching staff, administrative personnel, and parents/guardians.
- Share regular player updates with relevant internal stakeholders and coordinate parent communication regarding welfare, academics, and logistics.
- Support to Academy Operations
- Assist in organizing academy activities including workshops, exposure trips, player assessments, events, and tournaments.
- Submit regular operational and welfare reports to the Project Manager.
- Enforce discipline and compliance with AIFF’s Code of Conduct and Academy Rules.
Essential
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sports team management, academy operations, or youth-focused programs.
- Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi (Telugu proficiency will be an added advantage).
- Willingness to work full-time in a residential setup (accommodation and meals provided by the academy).
Preferred
- Prior experience in managing adolescent athletes, preferably in a residential sports environment.
- Understanding of safeguarding standards and crisis-response protocols.

- Staff are expected to uphold gender sensitivity, inclusion, and safeguarding at all times.
