Job Title: Night Shift Call Operative – Bus Operations Coordination Location: Siruseri, Chennai (Universal Bus Services Operations Hub) Shift Timing: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Including rotational weekends and festival days) CTC: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience) Department: Operations Reports To: Operations Manager About Universal Bus Services:Universal Bus Services is a leading interstate bus operator in South India, known for providing safe, comfortable, and timely travel experiences across major cities. With round-the-clock services, our night operations team plays a crucial role in ensuring uninterrupted journeys. Role Summary:We are looking for a dependable Night Shift Call Operative to oversee real-time coordination of bus operations during night hours. The role involves continuous monitoring, issue resolution, and ensuring seamless communication between drivers, ground teams, and operations management. Key Responsibilities:Track all live trips through GPS and ensure on-time operations. Coordinate with drivers and crew for any issues, delays, or emergencies. Document incidents, breakdowns, and operational escalations. Support backend resolution of customer concerns during night hours. Maintain clear communication with the morning shift team for handover. Escalate critical operational issues to managers as per SOP. Candidate Requirements:1–3 years of experience in transport/logistics/call coordination roles preferred. Must be fluent in Tamil, English, and Hindi (spoken and basic written). Familiar with GPS tracking, WhatsApp coordination, and basic Excel/data entry. Strong communication, coordination, and crisis-handling skills. Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays on rotation.
