Operation Manager

As an Operations Manager at VGP Play Kingdom in Coimbatore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient processes, and high standards of safety and service. You will oversee the daily operations of the arcade and gaming zones, coordinating across various teams such as ticketing, gaming, security, maintenance, and F&B to ensure seamless guest flow and operational efficiency. Developing and implementing SOPs for service quality, revenue tracking, and staff productivity will be a key responsibility. Monitoring budgets, expenses, and operational KPIs to achieve profitability targets will also fall under your purview. Your role will involve driving customer satisfaction through superior guest service, engagement, and problem resolution. Implementing guest feedback systems and service recovery protocols will be essential in enhancing the overall guest experience and retention. You will be responsible for supervising and motivating front-line and support staff, managing rosters, manpower deployment, and training schedules to ensure a positive, customer-first culture within the operations team. Ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance in all operations will be a top priority. You will coordinate with technical and maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and gaming equipment upkeep while upholding hygiene, cleanliness, and safety norms across the facility. Additionally, you will liaise with marketing and events teams to support promotions, launches, and special events, as well as support management in implementing new attractions, system upgrades, and operational improvements. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-10 years of proven experience in operations management within arcades, entertainment centers, theme parks, F&B, or hospitality. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with knowledge of gaming systems, customer service operations, and facility management. Hands-on experience in SOP creation, vendor management, and safety compliance is required. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities are crucial, with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or Operations Management. An MBA is preferred.
