Job Description

Position : Operation Manager.

The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the hotel to ensure seamless functioning and high standards of service. The role encompasses managing front office operations, housekeeping, engineering, guest relations, and staff supervision while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervision: Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Guest Service: Welcome guests warmly, ensure smooth check-ins/check-outs, and promptly address any guest concerns.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate hotel staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold company policies.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle guest complaints, resolve conflicts, and manage emergencies effectively.
  • Coordination: Ensure seamless communication between departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to fulfill operational needs.
  • Reports: Maintain accurate records, such as guest feedback, incident logs, and operational reports, and share them with the management team.
  • Safety & Security: Enforce safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Quality Control: Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are consistently met throughout the property.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage reservations, billing, inventory, and other administrative duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in the hospitality industry, with 3 -5 years in an Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
  • Customer Service: Strong ability to professionally handle guest queries and complaints.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and maintain high morale.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Front Desk, Winhms) and office tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
  • A degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
