Our client is seeking a skilled
OpenShift Infrastructure Administrator
for a 6-month extendable, and onsite engagement at their
Dubai office
(banking client). This role is focused on managing, securing, and optimizing enterprise-grade
Red Hat OpenShift
environments in a hybrid cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in
OpenShift
administration, infrastructure automation, and
Azure
cloud services. Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS will be considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and scale Red Hat OpenShift clusters in alignment with enterprise security and performance standards.
- Design and implement automation for provisioning and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines for application deployments, configuration management, and infrastructure updates.
- Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and apply performance tuning and resource optimization.
- Enforce security policies and high availability across OpenShift workloads using Azure-native and Kubernetes-native tooling.
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform engineering teams to support seamless deployment workflows and system uptime.
- Provide ongoing support for OpenShift platform upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
- Manage Terraform state, remote backends, and ensure governance across multi-environment cloud infrastructure.
- Stay current with Red Hat OpenShift updates, Kubernetes ecosystem developments, and cloud-native tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure administration and DevOps, with a strong focus on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure services, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and integration with OpenShift environments.
- Solid understanding of IaC principles, cloud infrastructure governance, and security best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or fintech is a plus.

- Salary: 17,000 per month AED salary (fixed, and non-negotiable)
