Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Experience - 5-10 yrs

Salary - 40k-50kpm

Responsibilities

Design and develop power electronic circuits, including power supplies (SMPS, regulated, linear, etc.) and motor control circuitry.

Design and develop embedded systems using microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, and other digital and analog components.

Implement communication interfaces like CAN, SPI, USB, and others.

Design and develop hardware and software for automation systems.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Ensure projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align electronic developments with overall product strategies.

Skills/Competencies

Hands-On rich experience on Hardware Design & Development, Low Power & High Power SMPS Designing like Flyback, Forward Topology etc. and Embedded System Design, Debugging and Validation.

Rich Experience on Experience in High frequency SMPS Transformer designing & Magnetics and BLDC & PMSM Motor Control & Design Techniques.

Practical Knowledge of EMI/ EMC Compliance & Reliability test etc. for Robust Hardware Design.

Good experience in PCB design tool (Zuken/ CAD Star/ OrCAD) and PCB design standards. Experience in hardware troubleshooting.

Sound knowledge of 8 bit & 32 bit microcontrollers, ARM, STM32, Atmega, Toshiba, Raspberry-Pi or any other with relevant experience.

Hands-On experience of RTOS, Graphic Display, Device drivers, Sensors, Motors, various communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C etc.).

Good knowledge of DC/ BLDC Motor control techniques will be an added advantage.

Basics of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and DRBFM will be an added advantage.

Experience on 8 bit & 32 bit microcontrollers, Toshiba, ARM, STM32, ATMEGA, PIC Raspberry-Pi. Sound knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART).

Good Analytical/ Troubleshooting skill, Must Familiar with Six sigma & its Tools. Good understanding of DFMEA/ DRBFM techniques.
