Oncology Nurse

As a Home Care Nurse at MrMed, you will play a crucial role in providing in-home nursing care for oncology patients in Chennai. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, conducting wound care, administering IV infusions, monitoring symptoms, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in their homes. Collaboration and coordination with oncologists and other healthcare professionals will be essential to deliver comprehensive and personalized care. You will be responsible for educating patients and caregivers on medication, treatment plans, and health management, as well as providing emotional support to those undergoing cancer treatment. Your role will involve regular communication with supervising physicians to report patient updates, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to medical protocols and safety standards. Additionally, you will manage medical equipment and supplies during home visits and travel to patient locations across Chennai based on the daily schedule. To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse, with prior experience in home care nursing being highly advantageous. A background in specialty care, particularly oncology, is considered a strong asset. Possession of a valid nursing license and a reliable two-wheeler for daily travel is mandatory.
