Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for both manual and automated testing within Agile projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to align QA efforts with project goals.
  • Execute end-to-end testing strategies, focusing on system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Conduct unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing with an emphasis on e-commerce application workflows.
  • Build and maintain robust automation scripts using tools like Jest, Cypress, and Selenium to streamline testing processes.
  • Perform API and integration testing using tools such as Postman and other modern frameworks to ensure seamless functionality and interoperability.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives) to represent QA perspectives and optimize workflows.
  • Monitor and improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA for e-commerce applications or similar domains, with expertise in web portal and backend API testing.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Selenium) and scripting languages like TypeScript.
  • Strong experience in API testing and integration workflows using Postman and similar tools.
  • A solid understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to design, implement, and execute test cases for React.js and Node.js applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing workflows.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and per industry standards
