O&M head for material handling

We’re Hiring: VP / Head – Material Handling O&M

📍 Location: Chennai

We are a leading O&M company managing Power Plants, Co-Gen, WHRS, and Captive Utilities across India. As we expand, we are looking for a senior leader to head our Material Handling O&M vertical.

🔹 Role Purpose

Lead O&M for material handling systems (conveyors, stacker-reclaimers, ship unloaders, crushers, etc.) across thermal power plants, mines, and ports. Drive operational reliability, cost efficiency, and excellence in technical & commercial bidding.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability & performance of material handling systems

• Lead technical & commercial bidding, tenders, and quotations

• Build and mentor specialized O&M teams with HR support

• Manage OPEX/CAPEX, safety, compliance, and vendor coordination

• Drive digital tools, preventive & predictive maintenance practices

🔹 What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years in Material Handling O&M (power plants / mining / ports)

• Strong bidding & techno-commercial expertise

• Proven track record in achieving availability & cost KPIs

• Leadership experience in building and managing large O&M teams

• Strong safety, compliance, and stakeholder management orientation
