O&M EHS Coordinator

Job Description

Facilitate establishing EHS requirements across the O&M plant in their respective segment Inspect the quality of PPEs and safety gadgets. Prepare O&M emergency response plan and conduct periodic mock drill Identify the training needs, schedule the training and impart training to staff, visitors, sub-contractors and workmen. Daily EHS inspection / Peptalk to be done. Conduct inspections on a weekly or daily basis. Evaluate the compliance of legal requirements. Preparation of EHS risk assessment and facilitate safe operating procedures. Update the O&M specific SOPs to meet O&M EHS requirements. Conduct periodical inspections, identify safety issues, analyze the incident trends and initiate necessary corrective and preventive action Review and appraise EHS performance and facilitate improvement. Work in coordination with the workers. Facilitate the implementation of the work permit system. Preparation of factory EHS statistics and reporting it to O&M Cluster Manager on a weekly or monthly basis. Timely reporting of EHS deviations to O&M Cluster Manager for continual improvement. Organize campaigns, competitions and other special emphasis programs to promote EHS culture. Inspection of fire-fighting equipment and conduct fire drill Reporting of incidents should be as per the communication protocol set by HQ. Maintaining track of safety audits and inspections. Being accountable for fixing safety hazards. Identify training needs and conduct training for workmen / staff. Timely reporting of EHS deviation to O&M Manager. Show more Show less
