Oil and Gas Consultant

Role Overview: Outsized is a high-growth, well-funded disruptor in the fast-evolving talent economy, focusing on full-time contracts typically between 1-12 months. As a seasoned Upstream Oil & Gas Strategy Consultant, you will be joining an ongoing strategic transformation engagement led by the CMD office of a major oil & gas firm in India. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and influence core business priorities in one of India's most critical energy organizations. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze operational and financial data to identify high-impact performance levers. - Collaborate with the CMD office and senior stakeholders to shape and drive upstream strategy. - Develop business cases, implementation plans, and track KPIs across initiatives. - Coordinate between drilling, production, and corporate teams to ensure cross-functional alignment. - Conduct field visits to gather on-ground insights and validate implementation feasibility. - Clearly communicate findings, risks, and opportunities to support executive decision-making. Qualifications Required: - 7-8 years of total experience, with 5-6 years in upstream oil & gas (onshore/offshore). - Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills. - Background in consulting, corporate strategy, or CMD/CEO office roles is highly preferred. - Degree in petroleum engineering or related technical field; MBA is a plus. - Based in the NCR region or open to relocation (support provided). Additional Details: This is a 12-month, full-time contractual engagement based in Noida, with travel to Duliajan, Assam approximately 2-3 times every two months.
