Your Role

As an Assistant Accountant, you will:

• Provide technical accounting support in relation to latest accounting standards.
• Prepare and process monthly journals as required, including provisions and accruals.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations as required
• Support process improvement initiatives across the finance team.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures
• Reconcile fixed asset register;
• Establish running depreciation in system with correct book and tax rates as applicable.
• Work with business owners to ensure timely and accurate capitalization and disposal of assets
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Accounting degree
• 2 – 3 Years experience in similar role
• Professional accounting qualification, or working towards one
