Officer/ Senior Officer- Accounts & Finance

Purpose of the Role

The incumbent will look after the routine Finance & Accounting tasks at Plant, ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance at the plant & strong focus on internal financial controls. The role demands close collaboration with other regional finance colleagues and Plant Operations team

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring Monthly support in Closing of Factory Trial Balance and finalizing Factory P&L like prepared Provisions of various expenses, reconciling Bank Accounts, reviewing various Expense GL Accounts
• Ensure Trial Balance sheet hygiene through regular reviews of all General Ledgers and process controls.
• Functional knowledge about GST, TDS and other statutory payment like PF, ESIC etc.
• Experience of handling Accounts Receivables and Sales Invoicing, Stock Transfers from Plant to Units etc.
• Functional knowledge about Accounts Payables, Bill processing, MIRO etc
• Collaborate with Plant Teams and provide them adequate support required from Finance Team
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of all MIS reports requirement to the management.
• Liaise with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and government authorities as need.

Qualification & Experience

• Education:

  B. Com, M. Com / MBA Finance

• Experience:

  Around 5-6 years of experience in core Factory Finance and Accounts. Relevant experience in Agrochemical industries is preferable.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in SAP modules (FICO, AR & AP, SD, MM) along with the MS Office
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, VAT and other statutory compliances.
