KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business
-
Underwritehigh ticket and open market loans in the field through thoroughassessment and personal discussion with borrower and / orco-borrower.
-
Underwriteboth unsecured and secured loans of the microfinance and ruralbusiness vertical as below
-
Individualloans Business, Home improvement, Higher Education loans
-
KCC,agriculture and livestock loans
-
Maintainssuccess and growth of these products by adhering to definedpolicy and process for loan approval.
-
Maintaincredit policies and processes are followed effectively bysourcing staffs and appraisers.
-
Conductbusiness place, office, residence and farm visits of theapplicants based on the product and purpose of the loan. Conductreference checks with customers /suppliers / vendors / dealers.Assess repayment capacity, character and cash flow of theapplicant.

Maintaincollection of relevant and proper documents. Maintain adherenceto internal and regulatory policies / compliances like KYC etc.

Sanctionthe files appraised by the sales / distribution team throughthorough verification of the documents and assessment by theappraiser of the loan.

Conductsample TVR and PDs of the cases appraised by the sales team alsos hadow appraiser on asample basis
-
Escalatedeviations for necessary approval as per the deviation matrix.Observe for triggers in documents and escalate documents withissues to FCU team.

Decisionon loan applications as per credit approval grid, deviationmatrix and bureau matrix
-
Responsiblefor portfolio quality of the loans underwritten for 12 MOB.

Maintaindaily productivity with respect to personal discussions, qualitycheck of applications, sample visits and checks etc as per theset KRA.
-
Impartingtraining to the microfinance team on the group lending,individual lending and other lending products creditpolicies, processes and systems, including regular trainings onchanges / refreshers.

Monitoringrejections from field, guide the branch staff to control the sameand maintain higher number of Straight through applications frombranches.

Report/Escalate critical issues at field for necessary action as perpenalty matrix and maintain compliance of Audit issues.

ConductLoan Utilization Checks for the recent disbursement cases as perpolicy.
-
Maintainto participate and drive the successful implementation of technology based projects at backend and field
-
Planand address issues across Poor, High Risk and Critical branchesand maintain good risk management at the branches
-
MaintainsPAR and provision are maintained within the budget.
-
Engagein collections for recovery, follow up for Incremental overduesand non-starters
-
Sanctionthe files appraised by the sales / distribution team throughthorough verification of the documents and assessment by theappraiser of the loan.

Decisionon loan applications as per credit approval grid, deviationmatrix and bureau matrix

Responsiblefor portfolio quality of the loans underwritten for 12 months ofbooking.

Maintainthat the Issue/ deviations / policy/ process violation areescalated appropriately to the concerned department andsupervisors for implementation of penalty matrix.
