Job Description

Role Overview: As an Office Administrative Manager, Translator/Interpreter at the Office of the European Union Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, your main responsibility will be to contribute to the work of the EUSR and his political mandate in BiH. You will report to the Head of Legal Services and assist in organizing meetings, preparing reports on legal issues, managing correspondence, providing translations, and offering administrative support to the Legal Services team. Your role will also involve interacting with high-level management and local interlocutors, requiring a high level of confidentiality, flexibility, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: - Organize meetings, sessions, seminars, and conferences, including logistical arrangements such as interpreters, drivers, and venue setup - Research and prepare summaries, read-outs, and reports on a wide range of legal issues - Categorize, prioritize, and summarize incoming correspondence for the Legal Services, preparing draft replies as necessary - Update Legal Services databases, archive documents, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence - Take minutes and draft summaries of internal and external meetings for the Legal Services team - Provide translation of legal correspondence, documents, articles, etc. - Offer full administrative support and perform general secretarial tasks for the Legal Services team - Perform any other administrative duties as requested by the management Qualifications Required: - Completed Secondary Education (University Law degree would be an advantage) - Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience - Good knowledge of the BiH legal system and political institutions - Ability to interact with high-level management and local interlocutors - Very good written and spoken English, including knowledge of legal terminology - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate within a team setting - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy - Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills - Fluency in the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina - ICT skills commensurate with the scope of the post - Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multicultural environment Additional Company Details: N/A Role Overview: As an Office Administrative Manager, Translator/Interpreter at the Office of the European Union Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, your main responsibility will be to contribute to the work of the EUSR and his political mandate in BiH.
