Odoo Developer

Core Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design and develop Odoo modules based on business requirements using Python and Odoo framework.
• Integrations: Integrate Odoo with third-party applications when necessary as per the business requirements.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases in Odoo, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. This involves database modeling, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Workflow Analysis: Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation using Odoo. Collaborate with Product Manager to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing prior to submitting the codes for the tester's review.
• Training and Support: Provide necessary training and guidance to the colleagues on Odoo, best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Documentation: Create technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications.
• Customer Support : Assist users in resolving any technical difficulties they encounter while utilizing the system.

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in the Odoo framework with particular emphasis on recent versions 15 and above.
• Proficient in Odoo stack technologies such as Python, OWL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML, PostgreSQL, and so on.
• Proficient in building and troubleshooting Odoo modules.
• Solid knowledge in database administration.
• Familiar with code versioning tools such as Git, as well as CD/CI tools like Rundeck, among others.
• Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in migrating Odoo versions.

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in software development
• Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to follow coding standards and best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
