NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NVH Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team in Noida. This role is critical in driving innovation and excellence in product acoustics and vibration performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in NVH, a structured problem-solving mindset, and a passion for advancing product quality through rigorous research and engineering. Key Responsibilities Execute NVH-related research and development projects across product lines. Apply advanced engineering principles to enhance acoustic and vibration performance of existing and new products. Develop and refine methodologies for quantifying and improving sound quality metrics. Conduct component and system-level NVH testing using state-of-the-art DAQ systems. Utilize DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) tools and techniques to ensure robust hardware validation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during early stages of New Product Introduction (NPI) to embed NVH robustness in design. Drive root cause analysis and implement validated engineering solutions for NVH-related quality issues in production. Interface with internal and external stakeholders to align NVH objectives with broader R&D goals. Qualifications & Experience Education : M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution (Tier 1 preferred). Ph.D. in NVH or related field is a strong advantage. Experience : 3–5 years of hands-on experience in solving complex acoustic, vibration, and dynamic challenges in an R&D or product development environment. Technical Proficiency : Expertise in NVH data acquisition, signal processing, and analysis. Proficient in tools such as NX, Ansys, Actran, LMS, Lab, and B&K systems. Familiarity with mechanical systems including castings, bearings, seals, and torsional isolators. Experience with consumer appliances (e.g., air conditioners, washing machines, fans) is desirable.
