Nutrition Consultant

Job Title:Part-Time Nutrition Consultant – Fast Food R&D Employment Type:Part-Time | Project-Based / Flexible Hours Department:Research & Development (R&D) – Nutrition & Product Innovation About the Role:We are looking for a part-time certified nutritionist or dietitian to work closely with our food innovation team in developing healthier and nutritionally balanced fast food items. Your role will be to analyze ingredients, offer dietary guidance, and help create meals that meet evolving consumer demands for nutrition without compromising taste. Key Responsibilities:Evaluate the nutritional content of new and existing fast food items Provide input on ingredient substitution and health-forward enhancements Collaborate with R&D chef to balance taste and health in product development Ensure compliance with FSSAI and other applicable nutritional labeling standards Create nutrition facts labels for packaging and marketing use Provide recommendations for low-calorie, high-protein, gluten-free, vegan, or allergy-sensitive menu items Stay updated on food and nutrition trends related to fast food and QSRs Contribute to public communications around nutrition (menus, social media, brochures, etc.) Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or related field Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist license preferred Minimum 2 years’ experience in nutritional planning, preferably in the food industry or QSR Strong knowledge of Indian and global dietary practices Familiarity with food safety, labeling laws, and calorie calculations Excellent documentation and communication skills Able to work with cross-functional teams (chefs, marketing, operations)
