Nutanix Infra L2 Professional

Key Responsibilities: Provide L2 support for Nutanix solutions, including AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor), Prism, and Nutanix Enterprise Cloud. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to Nutanix hardware, software, and infrastructure, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions. Perform L1 administration and support for virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or AHV), including basic VM provisioning, monitoring, and incident resolution. Deliver L1 support for storage systems, handling basic provisioning, monitoring, and issue escalation. Provide L1 support for backup operations, ensuring scheduled jobs run successfully and escalating failures as needed. Collaborate with L1 and L3 teams for issue escalation and resolution; document solutions and contribute to knowledge base articles. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to understand issues, provide updates, and deliver resolutions. Participate in incident management, ensuring tickets are handled within defined SLAs. Assist in building training materials and documentation for internal use. Required Skills & Qualifications 4- 8 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in Nutanix L2 support. Strong understanding of Nutanix products (AHV, Prism, Nutanix Enterprise Cloud). Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP). Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or AHV) at L1 support level. Basic knowledge of storage and backup technologies and their daily operations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to document solutions and share knowledge with peers. Preferred Skills Nutanix or related certifications (e.g., Nutanix Certified Systems Engineer: Level 2)2. Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments. Experience working in large-scale enterprise or service provider settings.
