Nursing Educator

Education & Training

• Experienced candidate with min 10 years and above preferred.
• Assess learning needs of nursing staff and develop appropriate educational programs
• Design and deliver orientation programs for newly hired nurses
• Provide ongoing clinical education, in-service training, and competency-based learning
• Educate staff on new equipment, procedures, protocols, and evidence-based practices
• Support continuing professional development and lifelong learning

Clinical Practice Support

• Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
• Promote safe, ethical, and patient-centered nursing practice
• Assist nurses in developing critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Curriculum & Program Development

• Develop lesson plans, learning materials, simulations, and evaluation tools
• Ensure educational content aligns with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and revise as needed

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure staff competencies meet hospital, legal, and accreditation standards
• Maintain accurate education and competency records
• Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with nurse managers, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in policy development and implementation
• Contribute to research, evidence-based practice projects, or staff development initiatives
