Nurse

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care & support to elder residents, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, wound care, and general clinical assessments.
• Respond to emergencies, critical events or changes in patient condition and coordinate with doctors and healthcare team.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, charts, and reports.
• Supervise or mentor junior healthcare staff or caregivers.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Occasionally participate in rehabilitation sessions or assist in mobility, physiotherapy or other allied care as needed.

Required Qualifications / Skills

• Registered Nurse (GNM / B.Sc Nursing) with valid license.
• Preferably 5–10 years of nursing experience, especially in critical care, geriatrics, or eldercare settings. (Based on a recent Akshayvat Nursing Specialist listing) Shine
• Good clinical judgment, decision-making ability, and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient‑oriented and ability to work well in a team.
• Familiarity with elderly care challenges (like dementia, mobility issues, comorbidities).
• Ability to supervise and train junior staff (optional / preferred).

Preferred / Desirable

• Experience in intensive care units (ICU) or critical care.
• Certification in Geriatric Nursing or related specialization.
• Exposure to rehabilitation / physiotherapy.
• Knowledge of elder care ethics and patient rights

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
