NPD Engineer

1. Product Planning & Specification Development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product concepts and specifications aligned with market needs.
• Determine cost-effective yet high-performance components and materials for new models
• Prepare comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) with detailed specifications

2. Market Research & Competitor Benchmarking

• Conduct in-depth benchmarking of competitors across online platforms and offline retail markets
• Identify current trends, consumer preferences and innovative features in the bicycle category
• Analyze competitor specifications and pricing strategies to enhance product competitiveness

3. Vendor Coordination & Cost Optimization

• Engage with vendors to finalize product specifications and ensure timely component availability
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers to meet target cost and quality standards

4. Project Execution & Cross-functional Alignment

• Manage the end-to-end product development cycle, including timelines, deliverables and issue resolution
• Coordinate with design, sourcing, QA, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth execution
• Rigorous follow-ups with vendors & progress updates to internal stakeholders and leadership

5. Prototyping, Tooling & Sample Preparation

• Oversee prototype development, including drawing creation, sample approval and testing
• Support the design and development of tooling, jigs and fixtures as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,800.00 - ₹34,800.00 per year
