Backend Node.js Engineer AWS
IndustryInformation Technology Services – Cloud Application Development and Managed AWS Solutions.Role & Responsibilities

Design and code server-side modules in Node.js aligned to twelve-factor principles.
Build event-driven microservices on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and SQS.
Optimise REST and GraphQL APIs for high throughput, low latency, and security best practices.
Create automated test suites and integrate builds into CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline and Jenkins.
Instrument services with CloudWatch metrics, logs, and alarms to ensure 99.9 uptime.
Collaborate with product, DevOps, and QA to deliver sprint commitments and mentor junior engineers.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

3+ years professional Node.js back-end development.
Hands-on AWS serverless stack Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB.
Strong proficiency with Express.js or Fastify frameworks.
Expertise in building and securing RESTful APIs.
Working knowledge of Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
On-site availability at India delivery center.

Preferred

TypeScript experience in production.
Exposure to GraphQL and event sourcing.
Understanding of IaC using CloudFormation or Terraform.
Experience with performance profiling and APM tools.
Knowledge of container orchestration on ECS or EKS.
