Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Node.JS Developer. The Node.JS Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side web applications, integrating front-end elements, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. The developer will work on code debugging, optimization, and writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in working with Node.js and JavaScript
• Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug code
• Good knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
