NodeJS Developer

As a NodeJS Developer, you will be responsible for developing scalable and highly-available Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies. Your role will involve hands-on experience in TypeScript, performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring. You should also possess practical experience with GraphQL, familiarity with CI/CD principles, and troubleshooting issues in a distributed services ecosystem. Additionally, you will be expected to have an understanding of containerization, experience with Dockers and Kubernetes, exposure to API gateway integrations like 3Scale, and knowledge of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication such as Rest, JWT, and oAuth. Expertise in task/message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka will be crucial for this role. Your key responsibilities will include following best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices. Experience in the Banking, Financial, and Fintech sectors in an enterprise environment is preferred. You will also play a significant role in working with Agile methodology, ensuring quality in technical and application architecture, and system design across the organization. Researching and benchmarking technology against other best-in-class technologies will be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications required for this position include a minimum of 5 years of coding experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, and Databases, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript. You should hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent industry experience. Soft skills necessary for this role include the ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience. You should be a self-motivator and self-starter, able to own and drive tasks without supervision, and collaborate effectively with teams across the organization. Excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills are necessary to interact and present ideas to Senior and Executive management.,
