Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services that power our healthcare platform. You will work closely with frontend, mobile, and product teams to deliver reliable APIs and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js

· Build scalable and high-performance server-side applications

· Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications

· Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and healthcare APIs

· Ensure application security, data integrity, and privacy compliance

· Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability

· Collaborate with frontend, mobile, QA, and DevOps teams

· Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

· Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 1–3 years of experience in backend development

· Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript / TypeScript

· Experience with frameworks such as Express.js / NestJS

· Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend architecture

· Experience working with databases (MongoDB)

· Familiarity with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)

· Experience using Git and version control systems

· Understanding of server security and best coding practices

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

· Preferred in healthcare or regulated industry platforms

· Familiarity with microservices architecture

· Experience with Redis, queues, or caching mechanisms

· Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

· Understanding of data encryption and compliance standards
