Compensation: Base Salary
No salary bar for the right candidate. Final compensation will be based on skills and experience.

Experience Required: 1 - 2 Years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js.

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. You will be part of the core development cycle, working closely with frontend developers, project managers, and designers to build robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side code using Node.js.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, frontend, QA, and DevOps).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure performance and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
• Ensure high security and data protection standards are maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of professional experience with Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, callback patterns, and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in working with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or similar) is a plus.
• Good understanding of security and performance best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks like React.js or Angular is a bonus.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
