Job Title: Backend Developer (2–5 Years Experience) Location: Bangalore (India) Job Description . Architect, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and Azure Functions Implement robust data models and write optimized queries using PostgreSQL Integrate third-party APIs and microservices Ensure system performance, security, and scalability Write and maintain unit and integration test cases Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive engineering best practices Collaborate across design, frontend, and product to deliver business-impacting features Take part in DevOps processes and CI/CD workflows What We’re Looking For 4 years of hands-on backend experience, preferably in fast-paced environments Strong skills in Node.js, Express, Azure Functions Solid experience with PostgreSQL, ORMs (like Prisma), and database schema design Good understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party API integrations Experience with unit testing, Git, and Agile methodologies Familiarity with microservice architecture, event queues, or serverless functions Self-driven and able to take ownership of backend architecture decisions Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bonus Skills Experience with cloud architecture (Azure preferred) Familiarity with CI/CD tools, containerization, or infrastructure as code Exposure to HR tech, fintech, or enterprise SaaS domains What’s in it for You Work with a founding team building a world-first reward intelligence platform Shape the technical roadmap of a fast-scaling product Build systems that touch thousands of employees across India Inc Get access to early-stage equity opportunities (based on performance) Build something that will get talked about at HR conferences globally Send your resume to Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
