1. Role Overview

The NPD & R&D Executive will support development of new products, testing of industrial tapes, adhesives, and specialty materials, quality inspection, and preparation of technical documentation such as TDS, MSDS, and test reports.

The role involves strong collaboration with Automotive, Electronics, White Goods OEMs and R&D teams for application development and technical evaluation.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Promotion of Industrial Tape Applications

• Identify new applications in

  Automotive, Electronics, White Goods, and General Industry

  .
• Work with customer NPD/R&D teams to propose

  3M, TESA, Sidike

  , and in-house tape solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare application reports.

B. In-house Product Testing

• Perform structured testing of tapes, adhesives, gaskets, films, and laminates.
• Run tests such as adhesion, shear, tack, tensile, temperature, chemical exposure & ageing.
• Maintain lab equipment and testing logs.

C. Preparation & Maintenance of TDS / MSDS

• Create and update

  Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

  for all products.
• Maintain

  Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

  and ensure compliance.
• Manage document version control and technical master folders.

D. Material Quality Inspection (Inward)

• Inspect incoming raw materials (tapes, rolls, films, adhesives, liners).
• Prepare IQC (Incoming Quality Check) reports.
• Ensure batch traceability and documentation.

E. Production Quality Inspection

• Inspect goods produced through

  slitting, die-cutting, lamination, printing, and finishing

  .
• Verify dimensions, adhesion, print quality, liner release, and overall product specifications.
• Prepare QC reports with photos and maintain daily quality logs.

F. Material Testing Reports

• Prepare detailed

  test reports

  , data charts, comparison tables, and graphical summaries.
• Submit testing results to management and sales teams.
• Maintain a digital archive of all test results for internal and customer reference.

3. Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong understanding of

  chemistry, polymers, adhesives, mechanical properties

  .
• Ability to run tests according to

  ASTM / ISO

  methods.
• Good analytical and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong communication skills for customer technical interactions.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

4. Experience Required

• 03 years

  in R&D, QA/QC, NPD, or testing of materials (preferred: adhesives, tapes, polymers, films).
• Freshers with strong technical aptitude and educational background from chemistry can also be considered.

5. Salary Range

Best as per Industry Payout and Expertise & IQ level

6. Work Schedule

• Full-time (On-site)
• Monday to Saturday
