Networking Specialist

As a Network Engineer at Ubona Technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a SRE team dedicated to creating scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that align with business objectives and SLAs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Possess a deep understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, and QoS. - Configure and maintain essential network services like DNS, DHCP, etc. - Monitor network performance, optimize traffic, and troubleshoot connectivity issues effectively. - Implement network security measures like firewalls, IDS, and VPNs. - Provide Level-2/3 support for issue resolution. - Collaborate with external vendors and ISPs to resolve network-related issues. - Analyze network performance and identify bottlenecks for optimization. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as a Network Operation Engineer focusing on networking and Data Centre management. - In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems like CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat. - Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, etc. - Hands-on experience in Data Centre operations, server management, rack installation, and environmental monitoring. - Familiarity with security best practices and tools. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and documentation skills.,
