Job Description

As a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in providing professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the support process, investigating and diagnosing problems, carrying out maintenance tasks, and ensuring efficient incident resolution to meet service level agreements (SLA). You will also be responsible for monitoring service delivery, documenting incidents, and maintaining accurate configuration records. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain the support process and handle support requests according to procedures. - Investigate and diagnose problems using service assurance software and tools. - Resolve incidents and perform maintenance tasks. - Utilize knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution. - Monitor service delivery against SLAs and maintain relevant records. - Analyze service records to identify actions for service improvement. - Prioritize and diagnose incidents following agreed procedures. - Investigate causes of incidents, escalate unresolved issues, and provide service recovery. - Document and close resolved incidents according to procedures. - Maintain accurate configuration records and protect assets from unauthorized changes. - Investigate root causes of incidents and assist with implementing remedies. - Provide detailed advice on specific specialisms and ensure comprehensive incident resolution. - Provide continuous feedback to clients and update systems as per operating procedures. - Cooperate with stakeholders to expedite error diagnosis and resolution. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: - Effective communication and cross-cultural teamwork skills. - Strong project planning and adaptability in changing circumstances. - Positive outlook and ability to work well under pressure. - Active listening techniques and customer-centric approach. - Entry-level knowledge of vendor technologies and management agent concepts. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing. - Associate level certification in Networking technologies like Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc. Required Experience: - Entry-level experience in Networking technologies and technical support. - Experience in diagnosis, troubleshooting, and remote support. - Familiarity with relevant technology in a networking environment.
