Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the organisation's network infrastructure, including local and wide area networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs;
• Monitor and maintain network performance, including system availability, reliability, and security;
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity, network congestion, and security incidents;
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and procedures;
• Collaborate with other members of the IT Operations Department to ensure that IT systems and services meet the needs of the business;
• Participate in IT projects, including network upgrades, migrations, and deployments;
• Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls;
• Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to understand their network needs and priorities.
  

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a technology-intensive organization;
• Strong experience with network design and implementation, including local and wide area networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs;
• Expert Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including routing, switching, and firewall configuration, CCNP level of knowledge;
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate, HP switches, VMware virtual networks;
• Experience with network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities;
• Good English language skills.
