Description
As a Network Support Analyst 2 in Bangalore, Karnataka (Hybrid 3 days a week) for a duration of 6+ months, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining application workloads across multiple cloud environments. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring dashboards, promptly responding to network, application, and infrastructure alerts, and managing ticket-based work. Additionally, you will handle communications with third-party vendors, data-processing vendors, and financial institutions via phone and email. Your key areas of responsibility will involve monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting client SaaS products and offerings at Level 2 support. You will take a lead role in application and network troubleshooting by collaborating with Network Engineering and Incident Management teams to drive issue resolution. Furthermore, you will be responsible for actively monitoring dashboards, promptly responding to alerts, managing a ticket queue, and engaging in effective communications via email and phone with various stakeholders. In this role, documenting standard operating procedures, assisting peer analysts with network-specific issues, and providing training and mentorship to junior team members will be essential. Your ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, will be crucial to ensure seamless operations. To be successful in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or have equivalent experience. Furthermore, you should have hands-on experience in application support within cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, and/or Azure. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex production issues related to applications, networks, and infrastructure is required. Familiarity with observability tools like Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and GCP will be beneficial. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in the Banking Industry, proficiency with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet appliances, expertise in implementing and troubleshooting network connectivity, experience in managing and coordinating dedicated circuits, as well as familiarity with VPNs and High-Availability network setups.
