responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain distributed storage systems including

  Ceph

  ,

  ZFS

  , and

  NFS

  for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Proficient with

  Ceph

  (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and

  ZFS

  administration.
• Solid experience managing

  NFS

  servers and performance tuning.
• Preferred knowledge of

  Kubernetes

  internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
• Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.

Education requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering

The role involves working with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives. Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.) is beneficial.
