Network Specialist

As a Network Engineer at our company, your main responsibility will be to configure, administer, and support Palo Alto firewall environments, Cisco network components, and the global VPN landscape to ensure smooth operation. You will be expected to troubleshoot network environments at the 2nd/3rd level, participate in project work related to network and firewall environments, and optimize our IT network infrastructure for better availability and security. Additionally, you will be involved in monitoring and performance optimization of the network landscape worldwide and providing consulting on network architectures for various sites and construction sites. You will also be part of the global on-call service team. - Configuration, administration, and support of Palo Alto firewall environments, Cisco network components, and global VPN landscape - Troubleshooting network environments at 2nd/3rd level - Development, implementation, improvement, and documentation of technical solutions in IT infrastructure for data networks - Project work in the network and firewall environment in collaboration with internal and external partners - Optimization of IT network infrastructure for availability and security - Monitoring and performance optimization of the network landscape worldwide - Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access - Consulting for sites and construction sites on network architectures - Participation in the global on-call service - 2+ years of experience in network technologies such as WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN (including Cisco, Palo Alto, MPLS, SD-WAN, NAC) - Good knowledge of Windows systems and administration of network-related services (DNS, DHCP, NPAS) - Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, QoS) - Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools like CheckMK, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG - Large enterprise, client-facing experience with design/solutioning/implementation - Certificates: CCNA required, CCNP/CCIE Collaboration desirable - Good communication skills (Note: The company, Drr IT Services in India, is represented by Schenck RoTec, a fully owned subsidiary of the Drr Group.),
