Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Security Operations

Monitor and support network and security infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall (XG/XGS) including policies, NAT, VPNs, and security rules.
Provide L1 support for Cisco routers, switches, and basic network services (VLANs, routing, switching).
Handle firewall rule creation, modification, and validation as per change requests.

Incident & Ticket Management

Respond to network/security incidents and service requests.
Perform basic troubleshooting for connectivity, performance, and security issues.
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation.
Update tickets and maintain incident resolution logs.

Monitoring & Maintenance

Monitor network performance, firewall logs, alerts, and security events.
Assist with VPN configuration (Site-to-Site and Remote Access).
Support patching, firmware upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
Ensure backup and restore of firewall configurations.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration documentation.
Follow security best practices and organizational policies.
Support audits and compliance requirements as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in network/security support.
Strong working knowledge of:
Cisco Routers & Switches (basic routing, switching, VLANs)
Sophos Firewall (policies, NAT, VPN, web filtering)
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN concepts.
Familiarity with basic network security principles and firewall concepts.
Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹226,549.89 - ₹500,000.00 per year
