Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage firewalls and network security appliances to safeguard organizational data.
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
Maintain firewall rules, update configurations and perform firmware/software upgrades.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and resolve security issues as related to firewall infrastructure.
Lead the response to security incidents involving firewall breaches or other network-based attacks, isolating affected systems and restoring normal operations.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
Stay updated with evolving security threats, trends, and firewall technologies.
Educate and guide junior team members in firewall management best practices
