Cloud & Infrastructure Services Responsibilities
-Deep understanding of network protocols:SDWAN, SDLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, WLC, WAP, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol-Experience working on Data center architecture (ACI, Spine & leaf, flat v/s hierarchical) -Network Configuration ManagementConfigure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls according to established standards and best practices.-Security ManagementImplement and maintain basic network security configurations on devices, collaborating with security teams on advanced security measures-Network monitoring:Monitor network performance metrics like bandwidth utilization, latency, and packet loss to identify potential issues and proactively address them -Troubleshooting skills:Ability to analyze network traffic, diagnose issues using tools like ping, traceroute, and packet captures -Wireless Network troubleshooting for Cisco, Aruba, Juniper -ITIL Process – working experience of Incident, Change, Problem, Configuration management -Working knowledge on DNS/DHCP/IPAM, Cloud Proxy. Product, tools experience -Experience with one or more of network products:-Routers and Switches (Cisco, HPE – Juniper Aruba, Fortinet, Arista) -SDWAN – Viptela, Silver peak, Versa, Aryaka -Monitoring and Ticketing tools - SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Cisco DNAC, BMC, Jira, Service Now -Understanding of network Load balancers F5, NetScaler, VMware AVI etc Preferred
