Network Operations Center Engineer

We are seeking a Network Operations Center Engineer to join our team in Bangalore with a minimum of 7 years of experience. As a Network Operations Center Engineer at EIL Global, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as a trusted partner. Your responsibilities will include working in rotating shifts to provide 24/7 monitoring support, executing the Incident Management Process, conducting Root Cause Analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure customer and global IoT Business Unit success. You will collaborate with internal NOC counterparts, Customer Support, and Engineering teams for network troubleshooting related to IoT Network. Additionally, you will provide support to Service Providers to ensure service quality and offer feedback to our Executive Leadership Team. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strong analytical mindset to solve complex problems, thrives in a team environment, and excels in communication to document incidents effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Basic requirements include experience in a SaaS or hosted application service provider environment, proven expertise in network operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting, as well as advanced knowledge of Incident Management and problem-solving skills to identify network issues. Preferred qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, familiarity with SQL-like databases, and technical proficiency in SMS, mobile packet data, SS7 signaling, network switching and routing, load balancers, firewalls, and Kubernetes cluster management.
