About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, Switching, Wireless, and Firewalls. The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki) environments.
Manage and maintain MPLS networks, ensuring reliable WAN connectivity.
Configure and support Cisco switching and routing (Layer 2 & 3, VLANs, STP, routing protocols).
Manage and maintain Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), Access Points, and wireless network performance.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Firewalls (ASA / Firepower) and security policies.
Monitor and optimize network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.
Participate in network design, implementation, and capacity planning activities.
Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and change management documentation

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

6–10 years of proven experience in network engineering and administration.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
Proficiency in SD-WAN (Viptela/Meraki), MPLS, and LAN/WAN technologies.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT, VPNs, and QoS.
Familiarity with Cisco ASA / Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).
Experience managing Cisco Wireless solutions (WLC, APs).
Cisco Certification (CCNA / CCNP) preferred.
