Job Description

As a Network Engineer, your role involves using and having knowledge of Cisco / Fortinet technologies including routers, switches, firewall, wireless, load balancers, and cable testing equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in the design, analysis, optimization, and operation of LAN/WAN, wireless, and security devices. You will be responsible for packet capturing and interpretation, utilizing your solid analytical and logical troubleshooting skills. Additionally, you should have experience with SNMP for Network Management and NetFlow for baseline and troubleshooting communications. In this role, you will be expected to follow procedures and guidelines to install, patch, configure, customize, troubleshoot, upgrade, integrate, and maintain infrastructure technology. You will play a key role in identifying and implementing ways to prevent problems and future proof the technologies. Your ability to guide future decisions to ensure Network services continue to meet the needs of customers will be essential. Moreover, you will be responsible for maintaining disaster recovery documentation. Hands-on experience in areas such as Data Center Technologies, QoS, VoIP SSL VPN/IPsec VPN, Wireless technologies, Load balancers, Cisco Nexus, and SAN Connectivity will be advantageous. Good experience in site-to-site VPN, remote VPN, data protection, URL filtering, NAT, QoS, and IPSEC is also desired. Experience with performance monitoring tools will be beneficial in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.,
