Network Engineer L2 (Security – Firewall)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise-level firewalls and network security devices.
• Perform L2 support for firewall and network security-related incidents.
• Implement and optimize firewall policies, access control lists, NAT, VPN, and routing security.
• Manage change requests, including rule base modifications and configuration updates.
• Monitor network events, analyze logs, and ensure proactive threat mitigation.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance activities and on-call rotation for 247 support environment.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• CCNA Certification is Mandatory

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Security Firewall administration

• Expertise in

  at least 2 of the following firewalls

  :
• Check Point
• Palo Alto
• Fortinet
• Cisco Firewall

• Security Firewall Certification (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Educational Qualification

Formal education is mandatory:

• B.Tech / B.E / B.Sc. (Computer Science / IT only)
