Job Summary

The Network Engineer will be responsible for the assessment, installation, and technical support of IT hardware and security surveillance equipment. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to manage network-related hardware and software systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and install various security surveillance equipment and IT hardware.
• Provide technical support for hardware and software, delivering exceptional customer service in response to service requests.
• Troubleshoot issues related to PCs, servers, communication devices, and peripherals including printers, desktops, laptops, biometric devices, GPS devices, CCTV cameras, and door locks.
• Support PC Thin & Thick Client desktop systems, software, briefing display devices, and video teleconferencing equipment.
• Provide desktop and networking support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Maintain printer queues and evaluate printing processes to ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory related to PC, printer, and hardware stock, updating the database accordingly.
• Coordinate with managers and other team members on support requests and progress updates.
• Serve as the owner of assigned service tickets, providing timely updates on ongoing requests.
• Train newly joined support employees to enhance technical capabilities.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
• CCNA certification preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in IT hardware integration and network support.
• Ability to draft project reports, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and handover documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to customer events.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
• Passion for technology and proactive problem-solving attitude.
