Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Design & Implementation

Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Implement routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.).

Configure firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure secure connectivity.

2. Operations & Maintenance

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark.

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards.

Perform upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance on network devices.

3. Security & Compliance

Implement and manage network security policies, including ACLs and IDS/IPS systems.

Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA).

Collaborate with security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and threats.

4. Cloud & Migration

Support migration of on-premises workloads to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Configure hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).

Integrate cloud networking with enterprise

5. Automation & Optimization

Automate network configurations using Python, Ansible, or other scripting tools.

Optimize network performance and costs through proactive monitoring and tuning.

Implement SDN (Software Defined Networking) and network virtualization solutions.

6. Collaboration

Work closely with system administrators, cloud engineers, and security teams.

Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users.

Document procedures, policies, and troubleshooting guides.
