Job Description

As a Network DC Build Engineer at NTT DATA in Bangalore, Karnataka (IN-KA), India, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Prepare network designs including bill of materials and detailed device configurations based on business requirements - Raise and implement network changes within approved change windows - Develop network build packages with impact analysis, network change implementation plan, and cutover plan - Present network designs and changes for review and approval - Collaborate with platform streams and vendors to ensure timely completion of network deliverables - Conduct Data Center migrations in production environment without any downtime - Work independently on projects and design and implement solutions according to standards Key skills required for this role include: - Familiarity with network hardware such as Arista and Cisco routers and switches - Expertise in network routing and switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LAN/WAN Technologies - Proficiency in multicasting, VXLAN, Spanning-tree, vPC, port-channel, MLAG, Trunking - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in routing & switching - CCNP or CCIE R&S certification is a plus - Experience/knowledge of different types of transceivers, switches, cabling, and fiber patching - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Visio, Word, and Excel - Experience with Bluecoat is desirable but not essential - Strong IT/Technical skills with an understanding of software, hardware, and networks - Advanced level of written and verbal communication About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services with a commitment to helping clients innovate, optimize, and transform for long-term success.
