Job Description

As a Network Coordinator in the Telecommunications department, your role will involve managing, coordinating, and supporting the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of telecommunications networks. Your strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, project coordination, and network performance monitoring will be key to your success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and oversee network operations, installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities. - Serve as a liaison between engineering teams, service providers, vendors, and internal departments for smooth network operations. - Track and manage network performance metrics, service-level agreements (SLAs), and fault reports. - Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, changes, and incident reports. - Support planning and rollout of new network infrastructure and technology upgrades. - Troubleshoot and escalate network issues to appropriate teams when necessary. - Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations, safety standards, and internal policies. - Assist with vendor management including scheduling, contract adherence, and performance review. - Maintain inventory of telecom equipment and ensure timely procurement and deployment. - Collaborate with project managers on network expansion and modernization projects. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. - Experience: 2+ years in network coordination, telecom operations, or similar role. Familiarity with telecom infrastructure is required. - Skills: Strong understanding of network components, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and network management tools, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. - Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), ITIL Foundation. PMP certification is optional but beneficial. In this role, you will be office-based with occasional field/site visits and may need to work non-standard hours during critical incidents or maintenance windows.
